Internal purchase specifications at ITALFIL S.p.A. define very narrow working ranges, ensuring consistent product performance over time, both in terms of workability and, most importantly, weldability.
All heats and lots of wire rod undergo rigorous laboratory testing before production to ensure conformity with our quality standards and international welding wire specifications.
A large raw material stock allows ITALFIL S.p.A. to select the most suitable wire rod for each final diameter based on its chemical and mechanical characteristics. This also ensures an optimal surface condition, essential for smooth downstream processing and for producing a finished product of excellent quality. 
All rods fully comply with international regulations on radioactivity and do not contain any prohibited substances as defined by current regulations and directives.
